AN ORDINANCE declaring the
assessment on property benefited
for the cost of excavating, con
struction of curbs, grading and
asphalt paving of Oak Street from
Front Street to Seventh Street in
the City of Central Point, Oregon,
and directing the Recorder to enter
a statement thereof in the Docket
of City Liens and to publish a
notice thereof.
1 HE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
CENTRAL POINT DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: WHEREAS, the City
Council did heretofore by Ordi
nance declare its intention to im-
grove Oak Street from Front
trect to Seventh Street in the City
of Central Point, Oregon, as afore
said, and to assess the cost there
of upon each lot or part thereof
adjacent to and benefited by such
improvement 1 ts proportionate
share of the cost of said improve
ment, and did fix the time and
place for hearing protests agairet
said improvement and the assess
ment of the cost thereof, as afore
suid. and
WHEREAS, said ordinance was
duly posted and published as re
quired by the Charter of the city,
and
WHEREAS, a meeting of the
Council was held at the time and
place fixed in said ordinance for
the purpose of considering any
such protests, but no protests were
at such time, or at any time, made
to, or received by the Council to
the improvement or the assessing
of the cost thereof, as aforesaid,
and said Council, considered the
niatter and deemed that said im
provement would be of material
benefit to said city, and that all
the property to be assessed there

did order the improvements, and
WHEREAS, the cost of said im
provement has been and hereby is
determined to be the sum of

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby
determined that the proportionate
share of the cost of the improve
ment on each parcel of property
adjacent to said improvement and
benefited thereby is the amount
set opposite the description of each
piece or parcel of land below, and
that each piece or parcel of land
Is benefited by said improvement
to the full extent of the amount
so set opposite such piece or par
cel and that the respective
amounts represent the proportional
benefits of said improvement to
said respective parcels of property,
and the Council does hereby de
clare each of the parcels of prop
erty described below is assessed the
amount set opposite each respective
description for the cost of said
improvement.
That the following is a summary
of assessments for excavating, con
struction of curbs, grading and
asphalt paving of Oak Street from
Front Street to Seventh Street in

assessment on property benefited

and paving of South Second Street
from Pine Street to Bush Street
in the City of Central Point. Ore
gon, and directing the Recorder
to enter a statement thereof in
the Docket of City Liens and to
Dub ish a notice thereof.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF CENTRAL POINT DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: WHEREAS, the City
council did neretoiore by oral
nance declare its intention to Im
prove Second Street from Pine
Street to Bush Street in the City
of Central Point by constructing
curbs and paving thereof and to
assess the cost tncreoi upon eacn
lot or Dart thereof adjacent to and
benefited by such improvement
its proportionate share of the cost
of said improvement, and did fix
the time and place for hearing
protests against said Improvement
and the assessment of the cost
thereof, as aforesaid, and
WHEREAS, said ordinance was
duly posted and published as re
quired by the Charter of the City,
and
WHEREAS, a meeting of the
Council was held at the time .and
place fixed in said ordinance for
the purpose of considering any
such protest, but no protests were
at such time, or at any time, made
to. or received by the Council to
the improvement or the assessing
of the coat thereof, as aforesaid,
and said Council considered the
matter and deemed that said im-
provement would be of material
benefit to said City, and that all
the property to be assessed there
for would be benefited thereby to
the extent of the probable amount
of the respective assessments to
be levied, against said Drooertv and
did order the improvement, and
WHEREAS, the cost of said im-
