COURT OF HONOR At a recent court of honor held by
Troop 6, Boy Scouts of America, Larry Bledsoe (loft) and
Allan Taylor were awarded the coveted Eagle Scout awards.
Carroll Smith (right), president of the Klamath Slake of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, presented the
awards. Smith is vice president of the Crater Lake council.

Names of needy families as
well as groups planning on
preparing holiday food bas
kets are now wanted by the
Mcdford Christmas bureau, 60
Hawthorne ave., Medford.
Committees from the Hod
Cross, the Salvation Army,
and various public welfare
agencies will again sponsor
the giving of food baskets to
the needy, a project of the
Jackson County Inter-Agency
council.
In order to avoid duplica
tion of gifts, organizations,
service clubs, groups, church
es, and individuals have been
urged to clear the names of
recipient families for whom
they plan gifts,
Anyone knowing of a needy
family In urged to notify the
bureau; the specific family
will then be visited to estab
lish the need. Accordingly,
individuals or groups wishing
to be given the names of
needy families should call the
holiday bureau.
Christmas bureau officials
have expressed a need for sur
phis apples, nuts, poultry, etc.,
which can be used to fill gift
baskets.
