Wa-Ke-Ku-Wa Camp Fire
group held a Halloween party
October 29 at Mrs. Charles
Fletcher's house. Eight girls
who camo to the party were
Donna Jahnko, Linda Dalbec,
Helen Norris, Kevin Raincy,
Penny May hew, Judy Per
ihall, Terry Fletcher, Joy
Willcon and our leader, Mrs.
Fletcher.
All the girls came in cos
tumes. We played several
games, then had refreshments.
We danced and bobbed for
apples with each girl getting
an apple. We had our pictures
taken.

Tregoff, 23, for 51 hours and
SO minutes with no sign of an
outcome In the 19-wcek-old
trial. The Illicit lovers are ac
cused of murdering Finch s
wife, Barbara, 33, on July 18,
1959.

Developer Dies

Falk, 7fi, pioneer In the de
velopment of intravenous feed
ing, died Wednesday night
after a short Illness.
Falk was co-founder In
1931 of Baxter Laboratories,
Inc., Morton Grove, 111., and
became the firm's first presi
dent. Two years later, Baxter
began production with six em
ployees of Intravenous feed
; Ing solutions In Glenvlew,
111.
Baxter, which produced the
first ready-to-use Intravenous
: feeding solutions accepted by
medical associations, now cm
ploys 2,000 persons in manu
facturing facilities in tills
country and abroad.

Kept on All Polls

General William P, Rogers
, says the Justice Department
will keep a close eye on the
nation's polls and take "im-
- mediate action" on any elec
tion day voting Irregularities.
Rogers said in a statement
Wednesday that he had asked
all federal district attorneys
to be on the alert for such
' federal violations as Intimi
dation of voters, vote-buying
and conspiracies to threaten
or Intimidate any citizen be
cause of race or for any other
reason. .
