Miss Reule is a graduate
of Medford High school and
Is employed by the Foreseen
Lumber company. Mr. Ows
ley is also a Medford High
school graduate and attended
Southern Oregon college. He
is employed by the Grand
Central Bowl in Portland.
The couple plans a late
December wedding at Zion
Lutheran church. They will
make their home in Portland.

Of Recently Married Pair
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Allan
Bourne are making their
home in Klamath Falls fol
lowing their return from a
wedding trip to Carmel,
Calif.
Mrs. Bourne is the former
Judith Elaine Johnson, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Charles Johnson, 219 Almond
street. Mr. Bourne's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Chester I.
Bourne, 510 Haven street,
Medford.
The couple was married in
a ceremony held September
18 at First Presbyterian
church, Ashland, with the
Rev. B. J. Holland, officiat
ing. The two o'clock after
noon rites was a double ring
ceremony.
Baskets of bronze and gold
chrysanthemums d e c o rated
the church and gold satin
bows marked the pew ends.
Mrs. Virginia Cecil played the
wedding music and accompan
ied Mrs. Jay Kaylor, soloist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore ah orig
inal gown of imported peau
de soie trimmed with hand
clipped Chantilly lace embroi
dered with pearls and se
quins. The frock was styled
on princess lines and the flar
ed skirt formed a chapel
train. Her fingertip length

veil was of tulle trimmed
with pearls and sequins.
She carried a bouquet of
white quill chrysanthemums
and a white silk handkerchief
that had belonged to the great
great grandmother of the
bridegroom.
Mrs. Martin Tucker was
matron of honor. She wore an
emerald green frock of velvet
and satin. Mrs. Robert Davis
was bridesmatron. Her frock
was gold color. They both
wore headdresses and acces
sories which matched their
dresses and they carried cas
cade bouquets of gold and
bronze chrysanthemums.
Keith Bailey, Klamath
Falls, served as best man and
seating the guests were Alan
Soule, Crescent City, Calif.,
Dennis Johnson, brother of
the bride, and Steven Wisely,
Medford. , ,
Little Pamela Cearley,
niece of the bridegroom, was
flower girl. She wore a white
nylon organdy frock over em
erald green and carried a bas
ket of white rose petals. Keith
Restad, cousin of the bride,
was ring bearer. Lighting the
candles were Richard John
son, brother of the bride, and
Roger Restad, cousin of the
bride. -
Mrs. Johnson chose an ice
blue sheath dress for her
daughter's wedding. Mrs.
Bourne wore an emerald
green print silk dress with
matching jacket and green ac
cessories. Their corsages were
white orchids.
Following the ceremony a
reception was held at the Bell
view Grange hall. Mrs. Nor
man Restad, Crescent City,
Calif., aunt of the bride, cut
and served the wedding cake
and Mrs. Delbert Johnson
and Miss Carol Buerkle pre
sided at the punch bowl. Mrs.
J. W. Watkins, Phoenix,
grandmother of the bride
groom, and Mrs. Donald Cear
ley, Medford, sister of the
bridegroom, poured coffee.
Miss Diane Bowlin was in
charge of the guest book and
Miss Mary Gayle Hodgins and
Mrs. Frank Malin were at the
gift table. Mrs. Johnson, was
in charge of the reception.
For traveling the bride
wore a turquoise wool frock
with copper colored accessor
ies and the white orchid from
her corsage. The bride is a
graduate of Ashland High
school and attended Southern
Oregon college. She is em
ployed by La Pointe's in
Klamath Falls. Mr. Bourne is
was graduated from Crater
High school, Central Point,
and Is scheduled to be gradu
ated from Oregon Technical
Institute in December of this
year.
A number of Medford resi
dents attended the ceremony.
Among the out of town rela
tives attending was Mrs. Alice
Johnson, Tacoma, Wash.,
grandmother of the bride.

spent the summer in Germa

hood, Wednesday, October 12,

and Floyd Fogelquist,
sergeant - at - arms. Dr. John
Welch is retiring president.
Douglas Roach was toast
master for the evening; Mr.
Auxier gave table topics; and
Dan Hull was table topic
evaluator. Featured speakers
were Mr. Fogelquist, whose
speech, "It's Time for a
Change," was evaluated by
Mr. Schooley, and Richard
Swan, "Fundamentals of
Bowling," evaluated by Dr.
Welch.
Jitnmie L. Quinn is a new
member of the club and
Frank Wilcox is a transferred
member. Walter Nunley was
the evening general evaluator.

Jean Cunningham, minister of
the Gold Hill Christian

Grove. The candlelight serv
ice was read at eight o'clock
in the evening by the Rev.
Carl Mason at the Methodist
church.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a peau
de soie gown with princess
skirt gathered at the sides
and back. The Sabrina neck-
line was trimmed with Vene-
tian lace. Her net veil of Il
lusion was caught into a lace
crown trimmed with seed
pearls, and she carried a
white Rainbow Bible with
white roses centering a sil
houette bouquet of bou-
vardia.
Mrs. Robert Wilson, sister
of the bride, served as ma
tron of honor and Miss Lois
Flaming was bridesmaid.
Their matching street-length
dresses of sheer beige with
short sleeves and full skirts
were worn with brown veils
and matching gloves.- They
carried nosegays of yellow
and white chrysanthemums.
A three-year-old niece of
the bride, Julie Kay Wilson,
was flower girl. .
Dr. DeWayne Halverson,
Forest Grove, served as best
man. Ushers were Dr. Law

Duane French, Forest Grove.

The church was decorated
with baskets of white gladioli
and bronze colored chrysan
themums, with white satin
bows at the pews.
