Knight, of Vernon, Tex., was
serving a 10-day sentence in
jail today and pondering over
the fact he never seems to
do anything right.
While visiting the Hill City,
S.D., zoo, Knight got a sudden
urge to eat a goose dinner,
and "appropriated" one of the
zoo's birds. That was bad
enough.
But then the fire on which
he roasted the goose got out
of control and National Forest
Service officials had to put

in Jail.
VOTE RETIREMENT PAY
Washington -HIPD- Congress
has voted to pay FBI Director
J. Edgard Hoover his full
salary after he retires. The 65-year-old
Hoover, who has
headed the FBI for 30 years,
