The best lime of day to trim a hedge or do olher yard work is of a morning, when the air is cool
end the sun not too hot. A. J. Curry, above, owner of the Park View nursing home, 906 West Main
street, Medford, was almost through with his hedge trimming ob by mid-morning.

It was still a long time until noon, but the two boys above couldn't resist peeking into their lunch saks, and
perhaps trying i. sample, as they waited for Hawthorne pool to open. They are David Jacobson, left, and
Preston Wheaton, who live next door to each olher at 949 and 945 South Ivy street. Mickey, the dog, casts
a longing look at Preston's sandwich.
