test:
Four at a time they were

constant speed for two days.
In the slowest rotation of the
six separate tests, the room
went around 1.71 times a min

room rotated 10 times a min

that centrifugal force would
tend to offset the expected

One Loom Function
In the rotation tests, one

Nixon Forces Count
50 Votes for Rocky
Chicago IUPD - Agents of
Vice President Richard M.
Nixon counted no more than
SO Republican national con
vention votes outside New
York today for Gov. Nelson
A. Rockefeller.
Unless there Is a drastic
change in the outlook or un
less there has been a drastic
breakdown In Nixon's Intelli
gence activities, the New York
governor still poses no threat
to the vice president's bid for
the GOP presidential nomina
tion. The winner will need 866
votes at the Republican con
vention opening here next
Monday. If Hockcfcllcr ' re
ceived all 98 of New York's
votes, the Nixon camp would
concede him less than ( ISO
