ment and providing for the serv
ing of the owners of adjacent prop
erty with notice thereof by the
Recorder.
THE CITY OP MEDFORD DOTH
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS;
Section 1. That it is the inten
tion of the Council to cause the
construction of paving in alley in
Block 80, Original Town in accord
ance with the hereby adopted and
identified plans and specification
on file in the office of the City
Managcr, at the City Hail. Med
ford. Oregon, to which plans and
specifications reference la hereby
made for details and estimated
coils thereof, and to aueu upon
each lot, or part thereof, adjacent
to and benefited by such Improve
ment its proportionate share ot
the cost of said improvement as
provided by the Charter of the Qty
of Medford.
Section 3. The Counclt will meet
in we council Chambers at the
City Hill on the 21st day of July.
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., at which
time and place the owners of said
adjacent property are hereby call
ed upon to appear before said
Council and show cause, if am-
why said improvement should not
be constructed, and why said prop
erty should not be assessed for the
construcUon thereof.
Section 3. That warrants for the
costs ot uie aforementioned im-
?irovement shall bear interest at
our per cent (4) per annum and
shall constitute general obligations
of the City of Medford. and said
warrants shall be issued pursuant
to, and on the terms and conditions
set forth In, Oregon Revised Stat
utes 287.502 to 287.510. Inclusive.
Section 4. The City Recorder is
hereby directed to serve notice
hereof upon the property owners
aforesaid, by publishing this Or
dinance once in a dally news
paper, printed, published and of
f;eneral circulation in said City at
east ten (10) .days before the date
of said meeting, and by posUng
five copies of this Ordinance in
five public and conspicuous places
in said City for a period of ten (10)
days prior to said meeting.
