ceremony held June 4 at the
Church of Christ, 1056 Court
street.

ficiated at the 7 o'clock eve
ning rites attended by 200
relatives and friends.
Roy VanPelt, Klamath
Falls, cousin of the bride,
played the organ wedding mu
sic. Baskets of pastel colored
roses decorated the church.
The bride, given in mar
riage by her father, wore a
floor length gown of white
lace over satin. Her veil was
fingertip length and she car
ried a bouquet of pink carna
tions encircling a white orchid.
Miss Charlotte Stovall, sis
ter of the bride, was maid of
honor and bridesmaids were
Miss Marion Stovall, another
sister, and Miss Phyllis Tosh,
cousin of the bride. The hon
or attendant wore a pastel
green taffeta frock and match
ing hat and carried a bouquet
of white carnations. The other
attendants wore pink frocks

Couple in Home Ceremony

Clayton Brooks, Portland, in
a ceremony held June 5 at
the home of the bride's aunt,
Miss Martha Boshears, 404
South Grape street. The bride
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James S. Blaylock, 412 South
Grape street. Mr. Brooks'
mother is Mrs. Lillie Brooks,
Portland.
Pastor Clynlon Crisman of
the Medford Friends church
officiated at the double ring
rites held at three o'clock in
the afternoon. T h i r t y-five
relatives and friends of the
couple attended.
Baskets of pink and white
gladioli were on either side
of the fireplace and pink glad
ioli decorated the fireplace
mantel. Bowls of roses were
placed throughout the room,
Mrs. Kenneth Boshears play
ed the piano wedding music,
The bride wore a floor
length gown of white lace and
net over taffeta. Her finger
tip length veil was held by a
pillbox cap of lace and pearls
and she carried a bouquet of
pink rosebuds. Her jewelry in
cluded a locket, a gift from
the bridegroom. Mr. Blaylock
gave his stepdaughter in marriage.
Miss Donna Granger served
as maid of honor. She wore a
pink embroidered chiffon
frock over laffcta in Ballerina
length with pink headband
and veil. Her flowers were
deep pink rosebuds.
Larry Brooks, Portland,
served as best man for his
brother. Seating the guests
were Donald Marshall, broth
er of the bride, and Dennis
Boshears, cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Roger
Blaylock and Audie Brooks.
Portland, both nine years old
and brothers of the bride and
bridegroom, respectively.
For her daughter's wedding
Mrs. Blaylock chose a rose
' dress and Mrs. Brooks wore a
were white.
Following the ceremony a
reception was held by the
bride's parents. Mrs. Miner
Boshears, aunt of the bride,
and Mrs. Larry Brooks, Port
land, sister-in-law of the bride
groom cut and served the
wedding cake. Mrs. Robert
Peterson, Portland, sister of
the bridegroom, presided at
the punch bowl.
The couple traveled on their
wedding trip to the coast and
Portland where they are mak
ing their home. For traveling
the bride wore a pink rose
print ensemble with white
accessories and a pink rose
bud corsage.
The bride is a graduate of
Medford High school. Mr.
Brooks is a graduate of Frank
lin High school and North
western School of Commerce
Among the out of town
guests attending the wedding
was Mrs. Goldie Bebb, Port
land, grandmother of the
bridegroom.
New Bethel
Announced
Another bethel of the In
ternational Order of Job's
Daughters is being organized
in Medford. Preliminary
work has been completed on
location and time for the new
organization, which will be
instituted this fall, according
to the grand guardian coun
cil of Oregon, International
Order of Job's Daughters,
Parents and girls of Ma

daughter, Judith Eleanor, to

Stevens chose a blue silk
dress with white accessories.

nias. Mrs. Maude Reynolds,
Tulare, Calif., maternal grand
mother of the bride, wore a
blue lace dress with matching
accessories. Her corsage was
white carnations.
Following the ceremony a
reception was held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight
Albright. Mrs. Pat VanPelt,
aunt of the bride, cut and
served the wedding cake and
Mrs. John Beacham, aunt of
the bride, presided at the
punch bowl. Mrs. Philip Rey
nolds and Mrs. B. M. Tosh
were at the gift table. Mrs.
Beverly Tosh was in charge
of the guest book.
The couple are making
their home at 505 South Holly
street following a wedding
trip to Eugene. For traveling
the bride wore a white lace
sheath frock with red accessories.

Pass June 22 at the Red
