The victory was the fourth
in a row for the Californians
and it put them one game in
front of the Giants, who had
paced the PCL for 11 days
before running into the Solon
sorcery.
Spokane Stays in the Running
In other action Wednesday
night Spokane stayed in the
running with a 34 decision
over Vancouver. Seattle won
its third in a row by dump
ing Portland, 8-6, and SaJiJ
Lake moved out of the ccllun
into six with a 10-6, victory
over San Diego.
Jack Littrel proved to be

witch doctor. He doubled in
the two 12th inning runs that
gave the Solons their win.
