Members of the Jackson
county court attended the
governor's meeting of welfare
commissioners and adminis
trators in Qlem Tuesday.
Mrs. Frances Hamilton rep
resented the lay members of
the Jackson county public
welfara-rommission.
Theckson county delega
tion was among 26 counties
and 37, county commissioners
and county judges represent
ed at the first meeting of its
kind.
Discussion of medical care
for the aged was the main
objective of the meeting,
County Judge Earl Miller
said. Purpose was to develop
a better understanding of the
problems involved, and to
agree on some method of ob
taining sufficient drugs for
the aged welfare recipients,
Miller explained.

looking for new insectirides

insecticide when the old ones
became ineffective.
By this time, the flies pay

pest-killer, dimethoate, has yet

flies sprayed are killed, but a
