Oregon in School District Election
Precinct No. 1 and at the grade

way 99, state police said.
Both vehicles were north
bound on Highway 99. The
pickup truck driven by Mea
dows was in the outside lane
when he attempted a left turn
and struck th car driven by
Anhorn, state police said.
Meadows was informed that
a complaint charging him
with Improper changing of
lanes would be filed in Ash
land justice of the peace
court.

BOMB DISPOSAL

Army demolition team began
the ticklish job today of dis
posing of 10 World War II
bombs uncovered by a con
struction crew near the city
airport. The 500-pound bombs
were apparently left behind
by an Air Corps unit during
the war.
