County Vefs Pay $198 Properly Tax
A , Jackson county ex-GI
with an Oregon veterans farm
and home loan paid an ave
rage property tax of $198
this year, compared to a state
wide average of $194.
There were 693 GI proper
ties in Jackson county paying
a total tax of $137,185. Total
payments on 14,915 properties
in Oregon was $3,626,343.
The figures were released
by Roy V. Bell, auditor for
the state department of vet

paid per property is up this
year tompared to former

ans paid $168, .and in 1957,
$145.
The borrower pays his taxes
