War, struggled for life today

pects to observe his 117th
birthday on Nov. 14, was
thrust back under an oxygen
tent Thursday.
Williams contracted pneu
monia a week ago and Dr.
Russell Wolfe kept the old
veteran under an oxygen tent
three days.
