Many federal agencies have
found during past years that
utilizing the skills and abili
ties of the handicapped and
disabled is good business and
are taking every opportunity
to do something about it.
Look at the employment
records of the hundreds of
federal installations and field
stations throughout the Unit
ed States, and one will find
from 200 to 500 new handi
capped employed each
month.
The placements are in va

tabulating machine
operators, legal positions in
cluding attorneys, machinists,
physicians, guards, in the var

Reflect Prom
The fJgures reflect just how
profitable the federal service
has found the hiring of the

At the same time, federal
agencies have gone far in giv

YES BUTTON ,
Newark, N. J.-fDPD - Cftief
Magistrate Nicholas Castel
lano asked Patrolman Edward
Adehgan what the strange
button was on the policeman's
uniform. Adelman said it was
a "yes button" urging voters
to approve a pay rise for city
employees. "
"Well, take it off," Castel
lano said. "Before you know
it somebody will be walking
in here with a big no' button."
