On Now Through August 23
Now, the annual Jackson County Four-H and Future Farmers of America Fair
is underway at the Fairgrounds. Everyone will want to see the achievements of
these fine young men and women who are LEARNING by DOING. Here is a
thoroughly practical and time-tried youth movement that builds better citizens
for tomorrow better economy for the Rogue River Valley today! There is no
finer encouragement to this worthwhile program than attendance at the Fair
and support of the annual livestock auction. There will be something doing
every minute during the five-day Four-H, F. F. A. Fair, from home economics
exhibits, agricultural demonstrations and style revue to livestock judging, sheep
shearing contest and tractor driving competition. Be sure to attend-it will be
an interesting and memorable experience!

The Medford Kiwanis Club, sponsors of a Free Dental Clinic
to serve underprivileged children, presents a colorful, fun
filled old fashion COUNTY FAIR! The whole family will en
joy the exhibits, displays, contests and special entertain
ment. Mrs. Oregon and Miss Jackson County will be official
hostesses to welcome you . . . and The Shadows, and the Bor
den Family will be there, too! As an added attraction, a prize
beef will be awarded as a door prize. See the Kiwanis County
Fair when you come to the Fairgrounds to enjoy the Four-H,
F. F. A. Fair. For a wonderful time, to aid a needed service for
children, don't miss any one of the FOUR BIG DAYS, start
ing this Thursday.
