vacation trip to Fonda, Iowa,

The family visited friends
in Sacramento, Calif., toured
Rocky Mountain National
park, Colorado; and Yellow
stone and Grand Teton Na
tional parks, Wyoming. They
also stopped in Boise, Idaho,

The bride wore a white
Chantilly lace gown over
white satin, and a matching
cap of lace held the finger tip
veil. She carried rosebuds on
a white Bible, the latter being
a gift from her grandmother.
The pearls she wore had been
a gift from her father to her
mother.
Sister Attends
Miss Lois Farlow, sister of
the bride, was maid of honor
and Miss Suzanne Schauble,
sister of the bridegroom, was
bridesmaid. Both wore pink
figured" nylon over taffeta;
one a lighter shade than the
other. Each carried a bouquet
of painted daisies.
Carl Weisbrod of Shady
Cove was best man, and the
ushers were Neil Dusenberry
and Dean Weitman, also
Shady Cove.
Candlelighters were Car
men Farlow, cousin of the
bride, and Linda Robins, cou
sin' of the bridegroom. Both
wore white figured nylon over
pink taffeta and matching
bonnets. t
Karen Farlow, cousin of the
bride', was flower girl. Her
dress was white figured nylon
over white taffeta, with a pink
sash, and white bonnet. Mi
chael Miles, also cousin of the
bride, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Larry Dodenhoff sang
and Mrs. Ray Chamberlain
was at the organ.
. The church was decorated
with pink gladiolus and white
Ester Reed daisies. White and
pink ribbon bows with wed
ding bells attached were at
the end of the pews in the cen
ter aisle. Mrs. Otto Nagel of
Eagle Point did the flower ar
rangements. .
Miss Linda Niece, Eagle
Point, was in charge of the
guest book, while Miss Doris
Corliss looked after' the wed
ding gifts.
Wear Roses
The bride's mother chose a
figured pink, blue and grey
silk dress and a matching pink
hat for the wedding. The
bridegroom's mother wore a
blue figured dress with a
white hat. Each had a pink
rosebud corsage.
A reception in the church
parlor was given by the moth
er of the bride. The wedding
cake was the centerpiece for
the lace covered table, and on
each side were pink candles
and baskets of Queen Bess
roses, white snapdragons, pink
carnations and white Ester
Reed daisies.
Mrs. Edward Chamberlain,
Eagle Point, and Mrs. Claude
Miles, Medford, served. Pour
ing punch were Mrs. Clancy
Rankin, Portland, and Mrs.
Clifford Rouch of Eagle Point.
The bride wore a blue fig
ured taffeta dress with a linen
jacket and matching acces
sories for her going away en
semble. ''
After a brief honeymoon,
the young couple will be at
home in Shady Cove. Mr.
Schauble is employed by
Steve Wilson. Logging com
pany arifi the bride was for
merly employed at Woolworth
company in Medford.
The bride has spent her en
tire life in the Rogue River
valley. Her paternal grand
parents, the Farlows, came
here in 1855, and the Down
ings ' in 1877. Her maternal
grandparents, the Woold
ridges, homesteaded on the
Applegate, and her great,
great grandfather, Alpheus
Wooldridge, was one of the
first Baptist ministers in this
area, coming here in 1850.
N The Schauble family came
from Burbank, Calif., and
have lived in Shady Cove
since 1947.

father, the bride wore a gown
of nylon lace and net over
white satin of ballerina
length. She carried spuria iris
with perle d'or roses. Miss
Kezer wore a gown of pink
embossed nylon and also car
ried spuria iris.
Best man was Steven L.
Houston, brother of the bride,
who was home on leave from
Mather Air Force Base, Sac
ramento. Baskets of iris, peonies and
roses decorated the home and
sprays of Paul Scarlet roses
accented the archway and
fireplace.
Mrs. Lloyd Thornton and
daughter, Myrna Kay, provid
ed special wedding music and
sang.
Reception Given
The bride's mother wore an
apple green dress with a Cecil
Brunner rose corsage and Mrs.
Kezer wore a green suit with
Cecil Brunner roses.
Mrs. Corwin gave the re
ception for the 65 guests at
the wedding.
Mrs. Don Cristie, sister of
the bridegroom, and Mrs
Robert Kezer, sister-in-law of
the bridegroom, served punch
Mrs. W. F. Biddle Jr., and
Mrs. L .A. Corwin cut the
cake.
Mrs. John Kezer was in
charge of the guest book and
Mrs. Harold Kezer and Mrs.
Gene Kezer had charge of the
gifts.
The couple traveled to the
Oregon coast for their wed
ding trip and will reside in'
Prospect, where he is em
ployed. The bride's travel
suit was of black tweed.
The bride attended Rogue
River academy and the bride
groom attended Medford
schools. .
