IANKING Edith Trusse
Banking is a good game for a warm day. You'll need
a tub or dishpan two-thirds full of water, a small cup,
and five pennies. Submerge the cup in the center of the
tub, then let each person have a turn trying to drop the
pennies into the cup. The person who can make the larg
est number of pennies go in is the banker. Better play
this outdoors in case the water splashes!

BALLOON BOAT
Inflate four small round balloons and tie a knot in the
stem of each. Take a large box lid and punch a hole near
each corner. Push the stems of the balloons through the
holes and you will have a seaworthy raft. Add a stick and
paper sail, as shown, and sail the raft at the beach or lake.
BALLOON DARTS
Cut a piece of plywood about three feet square. Bore
five holes as shown, and paint numbers under each hole.
Inflate, tie, and insert a balloon in each hole. Players stand
well away from the board and try to break the balloons by
throwing darts at them. Total the score by adding the
numbers under the broken balloons.
