Ashland High school alumni
banquet at Lincoln school
gymnasium Friday night, in
cluding one man from the
graduating class in 1893.
The oldest alumnus attend
ing was Henry Galey, 83, of
Ashland, who was graduated
In the class of 1893. He is one
of three persons still living
who were graduated that year,
according to alumni officials.
Representatives of classes
since 1893 attending were

the classes were not repre
sented, but graduates came
from New York, California,
Washington, and Oregon.
The class of 1959, which
was graduated in exercises
Thursday night, was named
the "Class of Travel" because
of the developing space age,
alumni representatives said.
