Once more, dress designers have succumbed
to the facts of life the reality of the female
form. Bosoms and waistlines, fashionably speak
ing, are now where nature placed them, and
the gently rounded hip is again a thing of
beauty. To complete the soft-line picture of the
"new" silhouette, there are belled or morning
glory sleeves. The styles are both comfortable
and flattering to wear. Dark sheers, always
favorites for warm-weather wear especially for
dressier occasions are refreshingly feminine.
1. McKettrick's Summer collection includes an
eyelet sheer cotton with unpressed pleats. Note
soft hipline and new bell-shaped sleeves- ($20).
2. Fashioned into a classic drape, the bodice
and soft pleats are figure-flattering in acetate
and Enka rayon. By R & K Originals ($20).
