DON'T LET CONSTIPATION
ADO TO YOUR WORRIES!
As distressing as constipation can
be in "normal" people without spe
cial conditions or illnesses, chronic
irregularity can be extremely ag
gravatingeven dangerous in
some cases. If you are on the list,
you've probably been cautioned
already by your own physician, to
avoid harsh laxatives and purga
tives. Your doctor may have
indicated concern about the
"straining" that goes with consti
pation (particularly in cardiac, high
blood pressure, and similar cases),
and he may already have recom
mentled Saraka. Saraka works
effectively, gently, smoothly, with
out stress or harshness. Saraka is
easy and pleasant to take, after
meals or before bed. At your drug
store or drug counter.

FHppety-Flop! Nat Bradford
Place two teaspoons and a plastic water glass in
the center of a table. Nearby place the spoons
.with overlapping handles (see drawing). The tea
spoons have two bowls, of course, one pointing
toward the glass and one the other way. "Bang!"
goes a player's fist on the bowl nearest him. If the
other spoon flips up and lands in the glass, hurrah!
It wins the player a point. This isn't easy, but play
six rounds and keep score.
Mother's Day Card
Ida M. Pardue
Several pastel paper towels
and this four-line jingle go to
gether to make Mom an amus
ing card on her day:
Besides this greeting,
giant-size,
You'll find this card is quite a
prize.
Read it first, then don't jorget
To use it when your hands are
wet.
Don't tear the towels apart.
Crease them in two along the
perforations to make a ready
made folder. Across the front
print or" write in big letters,
"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY."
Use bright crayon. Inside write
the jingle, plus more messages
like LOVE, JOY, KISSES AND
HUGS, AND BEST WISHES
from you!
