Cub Scoufs
Pack 14
Cub Pack 14, Roosevelt
school, will celebrate the 30th
birthday of Cub Scouting
with its annual Blue and Gold
Banquet at the Hedrick Jun
ior High school cafeteria Mon
day, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Cubmaster, Ken McHugh,
announced the regular pack
meeting would also accom
pany the banquet and that
awards for achievements
would be presented. Special
emphasis is being placed on
the Scout week activities and
the theme is the Oregon Cen
tennial. ' The pack which is spon
sored by the Crater Lions
club, will furnish ice cream,
coffee, milk and rolls at the
banquet. Service will be fam
ily style with the Cub Scouts
and their parents sitting in
den groups. The potluck
dishes will be shared in the
smaller groups.
A display of Pack 14 Cub
Scout activities is being
planned for a Dempster furni
ture store window for Scout
week Feb. 7 to 13 with the
theme "a Cub Scout is
Friendly."
