Big is the word to describe Texaco's new 45,000
barrel a day refinery at Anacortes, Washing
ton. Each of the largest tanks in the photograph
can. store almost 10-million gallons of petroleum
products! And imagine a 30-inch pipeline that can
handle lmillion gallons of oil per hour! Also,
a refinery that processes a daily average of about
2-million gallons of Sky Chief Su-preme gasoline
and other petroleum products! This is one of the
world's most efficient refineries!
MORE JOBS . . . MORE PEOPLE ! This new refinery
is Texaco's second on the West Coast lending the
strength of another major manufacturing, enter
prise to the economic growth of the Pacific North
west It employs hundreds of people, with rnuch
of its substantial payroll to be spent witti local
merchants. ' r - '
