les, heard the death penalty
without showing any outward
concern.
Remains Calm
The jug-eared television re
pairman was as calm in the
face of death as he was in re
lating to police officers how
he kidnaped and raped three
young Los Angeles area mod
els during a one-year period,
forced them to pose in the
nude while he photographed
them and then killed them.
He strangled the attractive
women with a rope and
dumped their bodies in isolat
ed desert areas.
Only the body of blonde
Judy Ann Dull, 19, was acci
dentally discovered in a shal
low grave near Indio north of
here. The body was so badly
decayed that police were un-
able to identify her and it
was not know she had been
murdered until Glatmanjs ar
rest Oct. 27.
Only Bleached Bones
He led police to the remains
of his two other victims after
his arrest. Only bleached
bones remained.
The victims, Shirley Ann
Bridgeford, 24, mother of two
children, and Ruth Rita Mer-
cado, 24, had been listed by
police as missing up until
Glatman was caught while he
attempted to abduct a fourth
victim.

morse. Since his arrest he has
insisted that he wants to die
in the gas chamber rather
than spend life in prison.

An automatic review of
Glatman's case will be made
by the State Supreme Court,

lights are required when
driving in the fog. They ex
plained that with visibility
reduced due to the weather,
pedestrians who must walk
along roadways should wear
light or brightly colored cloth
ing. Motorists are continuing to
cover the top half .of head
lights with tape, the police
said, and mentioned the cov
ering of part of headlights in
this fashion is against the law.
