phones pnd stole $30 to $40 in
coins from one of them.
Deputies said the lower
part of a phone including the
coin box was taken from one
of them at Pleasant Home rd.,
here.
An unsuccessful attempt
was made to steal the coin
box from a public booth at
13506 SE Division st., but the
thieves were able to rip off
only the top part. They start
ed a burglar alarm at the sec
ond booth which apparently
frightened them away, depu
ties said.
