The West Side Beef Club
held a meetinz July 11 at the
home of the leader, Don Brad
ahaw. The members judged
several classes of bulls, and
gave reasons for their piac
ings. Don Bradshaw gave s
fitting demonstration and an
wered questions concerning
the 4-H fair in August and
the various pre-fairs. The
next meeting will be held
July 28 at the home of Linda
Gibson.
Harburnars Horse Club
The Haybumers 4-H Horse
Club held a meeting July 15
at the home of Bonnie and
Mary Cheney. A report was
given on the club's overnight
ride, held a few weeks pre
viously. Plans were made to
oarticiDate in the 4-H Horse
ahow, to be held in mid-Au
gust. The leader, Mrs. Robert
Fisher, explained the various
classes open to members in
the horse show.
The next meeting will be
held July 24 at the home of
Penney Sampert, where work
will be done on the emblems
for the members shirts. On
July 29, another meeting will
be held at the home of Linda
Smith.
