that they must run. The first
person tagged when
not squatting is the next IT.

g3 n snow, sand, or earth draw large numbers from one to six or what-
Fg ever number of children are playing minus one. The person who is
esU IT does not have a number, but the others stand behind a number
ready to play. IT faces them, standing eight feet away. He calls any
two numbers 3 and 5 or 6 and 2 and the players behind these numbers
change places, calling out their names as they do. IT tries to steal
one of their places as they do this, and if he succeeds, he takes over
that number and the loser is IT. Every so often IT yells, "Introductions!"
There is a mad scramble as everyone trades places, shouting their
names. This game is fun to help new members get acquainted with a group.

Let's Draw a Parakeet
Ann Davidow
r
In a jiffy, in a tweet,
Change parasol to parakeet.
Colored plumes make tail
and wings;
Around her eyes are golden
rings.
She perches on a wishing bone
To wish she won't be left alone.
She gives her heart too glad
for words;
These parakeets are loving birds.
