Lands in Trouble

Furstenberg was in trouble
with the law today as a result
of her husband's arrest on a
drunk driving charge.
Police said the 26-year-old
performer dried to argue a
patrolman out of arresting "her
husband, Guy Vincent, 39,
and in turn was charged with
disorderly conduct and inter
fering with an officer.
Patrolman David Pritsker
said the actress became loud
and boisterous, causing a
crowd to gather.
"Vincent was released on
S500 bail for a hearing July
15. Miss Von Furstenberg was
released in her own recogniz
ance for a hearing July 18.

United Rubber Workers Un
ion and two major producers
agreed to an eight-cent hourly
increase for some 33,000 work
ers.
' The across-the-board pay in
crease was reached in sepa
rate talks between the URW
and representatives of B. F.
Goodrich Co. and the Good
year Tire and Rubber Co.
The agreement will be sub
mitted to the URW locals at
10 Goodyear and nine Good
rich plants for ratification.
The increase brings the aver
age straight time to $2.60 an
hour.
