having or claiming to have, any interest in the property included and described in the
foreclosure list herein set forth, and being the Jackson County Delinquent Tax Foreclosure
List for the year 1958:
YOU ARE HEREBY REQUIRED TO TAKE NOTICE that the plaintiff herein has
filed in the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon, for Jackson County, an application for
the foreclosure' of the lien of all taxes shown on the Jackson County Tax Foreclosure List
for the year 1958, hereinafter set forth in full, and that the plaintiff will apply to the court
for judgment and decree foreclosing such tax liens and cancelling all certificates of regis
tration where such property is under a registration of title certificate, and for such other
relief as may be just and equitable in the premises, not less than 30 days from the date of
the first publication of this notice, exclusive of the day of the first publication, and any and
all persons Interested in any of the real property included in said foreclosure list are here
by required to file an answer and defense, if any there be, to such application for judg
ment and decree within 30 days from the date of the first publication of this notice, exclu
sive of the day of the first publication, -which date is the 11th day of June, 1958.
This notice is published by authority of an order of the County Court of the State of
Oregon, for Jackson County, in the Medford Mail Tribune, a newspaper of general circula
tion published in said county and designated in said order of the County Court as the news
paper in which said notice is to be published, said order being dated June 4th, 1958:

Fellowship Meeting Held
By MARY JO HARRIS
Butte Falls The ministers
of Southern Oregon Assembly
of God Churches held their
Good Fellowship meeting
June 9 at the Butte Falls As
sembly of God church. After
noon services were led by the
Rev. Leroy King. Dinner was
served at 5:30 p.m. Slides
were shown by Mr. Hanfford
of Phoenix, Ariz, of the Nava
ho Indian Reservation of
Mexico.
Evangelist rally began at
7:30 p.m. Mrs. Bard of Trail
was a guest pianist during the
evening. A trio from the first
assembly of Medford sang
"Follow Me". Mr. Martin of
the Assembly of God church
of Butte Falls opened the eve
ning meeting by leading the
congregation in several
hymns. Mr. Crouse of Med
ford introduced the evening
speaker, The Rev. Garland
Benintendi, missionary from
Formosa.
Approximately 20 ministers
and families attended the
services.
the Derby school gymnasium
Potluck dinner will be served
at 6:30 p.m. followed by
square dancing and games
The public is invited to at
tend. Those planning to at
tend the dinner are asked to
bring their own service and a
potluck dish
Montana Facey of the Navy,
flew home from San Francis
co to spend Memorial Day
with his family. He is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. Burrell Fa
cey and returned to his base
Sunday, June 1.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Irwin of
Butte Falls and Mrs. George
Miller and daughters of Med
ford recently went to Brook
ings to spend the week end
with Mr. and Mrs. Charles El
lis. The Ellis' are parents of
Mrs. Irwin and Mrs. Miller.
A sister, Miss Linda Ellis,
made the return trip and is
staying with the Gene Irwins
in Butte Falls. Miss Ellis plans
to enter the Butte Falls High
school in the fall.
Mr. and Mrs. L. Lull and
daughter, Teri, and Mrs. Mil
dred Bray of Medford were
recent guests in the hom of
Mr. and Mrs. William Harris.
Mrs. Lull and Mrs. Harris at
tended Medford High school
together.

Visiting with the Burrel Fa-
cays recently were Chester
Facey and boys of Mt. Shasta,
Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. T.
Facey of Gazelle, Calif. The
T. Faceys and Chester are
parents and brother of Burrell.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Oden are
parents of a girl born Memor
ial Day at Sacred Heart hos
pital, Medford. She weighed
8 pounds, 8 V2 ounces, and has
been named Mildred Marie.
Paternal grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Baisden of
Portland.
Grange Social will be held
Saturday evening, June 21, at
Tuesday night has been set
as trial work night for the
Community hall. Anyone
wishing to work will be wel
corned. Working hours have
been set tentatively from 7
until 9 p.m.
Regular . meeting of the
HEC met June 10 at the home
of Mrs. Les Casey. A birthday

4 p.m. in honor of the Green's
50th wedding anniversary.
Next meeting of the HEC
will be held Tuesday, July 8,
at the city park. Picnic lunch
will be the menu for the day
with Mrs. Bob Wells acting as

Found Alive, Safe

Noble, 10, Hermiston, lost
overnight on a fishing trip in
rugged country on the north
fork of the John Day river
southeast of here, was found
alive and safe Monday, the
Forest Service reported.
The youth walked out on a
forest service road about six
miles from where he was re
ported missing Sunday. He
was picked up by Robert
Black, Ukiah district forest
ranger 30 miles east of Ukiah.
, The boy was fishing with an
uncle and a brother when he
disappeared Sunday. He was
reported in good condition.

Brazilian Airliner
Crash Fatal To 19
Curitiba, Brazil (UPI) A
Brazilian airliner carrying
several prominent political
figures to Rio de Janeiro
crashed while attempting a
landing here Monday night,
killing 19 of the 27 persons
aboard.
All of the survivors were in
jured, some of them seriously.
The dead included Nereu
Ramos, a former provisional
president of Brazil; Gov. Jorge
Lacerda of Santa Catarina
province and Leoberto Leal,
a congressman.
There were no Americans
aboard the plane, a Convair
440 which missed the runway
at Curitiba and crashed into
a tree.

Reese Creek Renegades
The last meeting of the
Reese Creek Renegades was
called to order by John
Hughes, vice pregdent.
The club gave John a going
awav present. He is moving
to Washington. The new vice
president elected was Kay
Stephenson.
The next meeting eft June
24 will be the final test, to
be held at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Moore.
