Graham Decides
To Extend S. F.
Crusade a Week
San Francisco (UPI) -
Evangelist Billy Graham an
nounced Thursday he has de
cided to extend his San Fran
cisco crusade by one week
instead of two.
That means the crusade
will last seven weeks, ending
on June 15. However, Gra
.ham said he will climax the
crusade with "one great final
closing rally" 1 at Seals Sta
dium, the home of the San
Francisco Giants, on Sunday,
June 22.
"Our finances are in ex
cellent condition," he saicL
"We may even have a small
surplus here to be donated to
the crusade in Australia sched
uled to begin early - next
year."
Going To Sacramento
Graham also said he plans
a week's crQsade in Sacra
mento, Calif., from June 23
through July 6. Later, he will
address audiences in Fresno
and San Diego, Calif.
Thursday night an overflow
turnout of 17,500 greeted the
evangelist on "youth night."
He devoted his sermon to love
and marriage. - j
