daughter Jayne, to Jack
Morris, Medford. Mr. Morris
is a son of Mrs. A. M. Davis,
Azalea, Ore., and A. C. Mor
ris. Topeka, Kan.
The wedding Is set for
June 21 in First Congrega
tional church, Eugene, Ore.
The bride-to-be, who ' is
employed in Portland, was
graduated from Oregon -State
college in 1 9 5 7. She is a
member of Pi Beta Phi soror
ity. Her fiance, who will be
graduated from the Univer
sity of Oregon this month
with a degree in physical ed
ucation, is a member of Beta
Theta Pi fraternity.
Mr. Morris was a star in
football, basketball and track
while attending Medford
High school, where he was
graduated in 1950. He was a
state champion hurdler. After
playing freshman football at
the University of Oregon, Mr.
Morris entered the United
States Air ForccQ serving
more than three years. Re
turning to the university, he
was a three-year varsity man
in both football and track,
and played in the 1958 Rose
Bowl game for Oregon's Pa
cific coast conference cham
pionship team. He will go into
training this summer with the
Los Angeles Rams of the Na
tional Professional Football
league.
Mr. " Morris is considered
one of Medford High school's
all-time great athletes. His
football jersey number, 21, is
"retired" which mean that
no other football player has
worn that number since he
was in school.
Both Miss Tsague and Mr.
Morris are spending the weeK
end in Rogue River as guests
of Mr. Morris' brother-in-law
and sister. Dr. and Mrs. Rich
ard Camden. Mrs. Camden is
the former Cecile Morris; Dr.
Camden, formerly of Med
ford, practices dentistry in
Rogue River.

ham are making their home

Point, following a wedding
trip to the Oregon coast. Mrs.
Bigham is the former Mrs.
Viola H. Moore, 511 Bessie
street, Medford.
The couple were married
Friday, May 23, at the Church
of Christ in Grants Pass by
the Rev. W. H. Burchman.
The ceremony was held at
10:30 o'clock in the morning.
The bride wore a navy blue
suit with white accessories
and a corsage of gardenias.
Attending the couple were
the bride's sister and brother-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. William
L. Dunivent, Medford.
The bride has been an em
ployee of the Jackson county
assessor's office for the past
17 years. Mr. Bigham is a
stockman and farmer in the
Antelope district and has
been associated with 4-H
work in Jackson county for
25 years. Both are life-time
residents of the county.
Following the ceremony a
wedding breakfast was held
at the Oregon Inn at Grants
Pass.
