legal voters of said district the
question of increasing the tax levy
for the fiscal year 1958-1959 over
the amount limited by section 11,
article XI, of the Constitution of
Oregon.
The reasons for increasing such
levy are:
The Jacksonville School Board
has approved a total levy of
$153,404.40 to cover operational
cost. The Jacksonville School Dist
rict has no tax base and so the
entire levy of $153,404.40 is in ex
cess of the 6 per cent limitation.
