Glen Rader said banks in
Jackson county are not in fa
vor of no down payment be
cause Irresponsible persons
stay three or four months,
move out, and leave home in
bad condition. He also said
older persons who would like
insurance cannot get it be
cause rates are high and the
younger ones won't buy be
cause they don't realize the
benefits derived by carrying
insurance.
Eoscoe Roberts reported
there is cut in dairy support.
He also reported benefits on
Grange insurance are great
and rates low. He asked any
one interested in helping the
older people of, the commu
nity to attend a meeting being
held April 11.

on the importance of storing
water for use in summer. We
need more water each year
for municipal : use, agricul
ture, industry and to help
fishing and we need more
dams for storage and to con
trol floods, he said. Roxy Ann
endorsed a resolution present
ed by Luce, who invited any
one interested to attend the
meetings. .
Christiansen also stated we
need flood control and told of
the flooding of his property
located on the Rogue.

parade by Norman Garrett, a
parade of Easter hats by the
men of the Grange, and an
