Air Line Pilots,
WAL Negotiating
Washington HP) The Air
Line Pilots Association and
Western Airlines failed Wed
nesday to reach agreement in
their mediation attempts on a
wage dispute.
Robert O. Boyd, a member
of the National Mediation
Board, said another meeting
was scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
Friday.
Negotiations have been
underway since last week.
The pilots cancelled a walk
put set for midnight last Mon
day and have set no new dead

ONE OBJECTION

School children here don't

Whitest and Brightest!
Every time you add Clorox to your
dry suds, you add an extra "measure of
cleanliness. All of your white things . . .
cotton, linen, nylon and rayon . . . come out
extra white! All of your color-fast cottons
and linens come out extra bright! Clorox,
you see, bleaches and removes stains far
better than any other type of laundering
product. No wonder the cleanest wash you
can get is a wash that's Clorox-clean!

Jayne Mansfield in
Night Club Debut
Las Vegas W Actress
Jayne Mansfield, 24, made
her night club debut with her
muscle-man husband Wednes
day night in Monte Prosser's
Tropicana holiday revue at
the swank Tropicana Hotel.
The bosomy blonde, wear
ing a $25,000 dress made of
three million gold discs and
links, sang and danced in
numbers written into the
revue and appeared in skits
with her husband, Mickey
Hargitay, 28, former "Mr.
Universe."
Larry Kammet, publicist
for the hotel, described Miss
Mansfield's appearance as a
"smashing success." He said
more than 500 persons attend
ed the show, a $50 benefit
performance for the March
of Dimes.
The actress appeared on
stage trailing a fox stole 20
yards long and was carried
off stage by Hargitay.
MISPLACED IMPORTANCE
Condon (IP) Embarrassed
Army authorities admitted to
day that Derek Partridge, 22,
whose picture has been circu
lating throughout Britain on
recruiting posters labled "The
Important Man," served in
the Air Force.
Safest for Health!
A wash that's Clorox-clean is
sanitary, too! No other bleach
laun
. . . no other laundering product . . . equals
Clorox in germ-killing efficiency. So, get
the good health habit ... disinfect your
family wash with Clorox every time!
