Talisman lodge will meet
tomorrow at 8 p.m., in the
Pythian building. A coffee and
social hour will follow.
Pythian club met Tuesday
evening at the home of Mrs.
Fritsch with Miss Bain as
sisting. Mrs. Dodge, retiring
president, was presented a
gift. Cards were played with
prizes being won by Mrs.
Bostwick, Mrs. Cora Ticknor,
Mrs. Ida Ireland and Mrs.
Fichtner.

the home of Mrs. Harry Bry
ant with Mrs. Harry Barne
burg assisting, on January
28th.
Past Chief's club of Pythian
Sisters met Wednesday after
noon at the home of Mrs.
Harry Bryant for a covered
dish luncheon. Plans for the
year were formulated and the
next meeting will be an even

group of visiting women from
Grants Pass. During the pre
sentation of Mrs. Grosh's gift,
appropriate songs were sung
by Mrs. Carl Fichtner, Mrs.
Emilie Conrad and Mrs. Polly
Offutt accompanied by Mrs.
Ed Bostwick.
Mrs. Harry Bryant, past
grand chief of Oregon, was
presented at the altar and
honored.
Preceding the installation,
the Rev. G. H. Hillerman
spoke the invocation and songs
were sung by Misses Donna
linger, Melody Pierce, Shir
ley Mardon and Joan Vander
steen. Before closing, the past
chiefs presented an adden
dum and formally presented
a past chief pin to Miss Bain.
Her, sister, Mrs. Walden, pre
sented her an orchid corsage,
and she was invited to be
come a member of the past
chiefs' club.
Refreshments were served
at the close of the installa-J
tion by a committee composed
of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fritsch,
