Butte Falls, which bowed
to St. Mary's on Tuesday, has
a bye in the loop.
Club Puts Up
Challenge Cup
Phoenix Rifle club has pur
chased a challenge trophy
and any team from a Cal-Ore
league member may challenge
a team in possession of it on
its regular shooting night to
a shoulder to shoulder match.
Winning team will take
possession until it is chal
lenged and defeated.
Phoenix members chosen
to vie in the Cal-Ore league
this week were Marvin Nel
son, Neal Tripp, Lyle Jar
min and Jerry Smith. For the
Medford club those named
were Lewis Conger, Frank
Rush, Harry Heidenreich anu
Clinton Charley. There are 28
teams in the league.
Conger topped the rifie
shoot at the club this week
with 390. Other high rif lists
were Heidenreich 388, Clin
ton Charley 386, Monty Per
reard 381 and Frank Rush.
