he prize goes to the quietest team in this game! Set up two
chairs about seven feet apart. These are the. sentry posts and
two players are seated in them, wearing blindfolds. They must
face each other. The rest of the players divide into two teams. At a
signal from the leader, the first player in each line sneaks forward
on tip-toe and tries to pass between the two sentries without a sound!
If either sentry hears anything, he calls out and points to the
direction from which the sound comes. If he's right, the player is
. "captured" and out of the game. If he points in a wrong
direction, the player sneaks ahead. Each team goes through just once,
and the winner is the team that gets the most players past the sentries.

To make this shoebox camera you
will need an old shoebox, or any box
of a similar shape, some
tissue paper, and some tinfoil or
aluminum foil. Remove the top
from the box and cut off both
ends with a sharp knife or scissors.
Glue or tape a square of tissue
paper over one end of the box,
making sure that it is stretched
tightly with no wrinkles. On the
opposite end of the box do the
same thing, using aluminum foil.
Now, with a straight pin or
needle, make a little hole in
the center of the foil end.
Put the, cover back on the box and
holding the foil side toward a window
or light, you will see a little
picture, upside down on the tissue
paper side, of whatever object you
aimed at with your "camera."
