Mrs. William Frank Perl Jr. It ihe former Margaret Ann Ripfl, daughter of
Mrs. Matthew Ripfl, 1123 Dakota avenue. The Perl-Ripfl wedding was an
vent of August 15 at First Presbyterian church with Dr. D. Kirkland West
reading the ceremony at 7 o'clock in the evening. The newlyweds will live

The former Margaret Sanderson Selby did not change her name on her
wedding day for she is the bride of John Philip Selby, Ashland. The wed
ding was held at St. Mark's Episcopal church . Sunday, August 18, with
almost 300 guests attending. The young couple left for Lakeland, Fla., and
will attend Southern Florida university this fall. (Landis photo)

When the last guest had greeted the bride and bridegroom at the reception which followed the wedding of
Margaret Ripfl and William Frank Perl Jr., the two mothers and the bride's aunt added their own best wishes.
Mrs. Perl is shown by her son, and the bride is shown about to receive a motherly kiss from Mrs. Ripfl. Dr. William'
J. Miller, who gave the bride in marriage, and Mrs. Richard Siebinger, aunt of the bride, smile on the happy
scene. About 275 guests attended the Perl-Ripfl wedding and the reception which followed in the church parlors.

Ready to start on their wedding trip are Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. lefler. Mrs. Lefler is the former Verna Barritt,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otha Turner, Route 1, Eagle Point, and the young couple's wedding was held Saturday,
August 17, in Central Point Community church. The newlyweds traveled to Yosemite National park for 'their
honeymoon and then on to Pasadena, Calif., where the bridegroom will enter Pasadena City college this fall. His

The father of the bride, Paul J. Selby, helped his daughter Margaret from
the car when the family arrived at the church on the day she was married
to John Philip Selby, Ashland. Mrs. Selby stood nearby. Margaret was ,
married in St. Mark's Episcopal church, the same church where her parents . '
were married, and she chose a gown similar to that worn by her mother. .

r About to drink the traditional wedding toast are David A. Schneider and
his bride, the former Alice Marie Wilson of Route 1, Eagle Point. The
Schneider-Wilson wedding was one of late summer's largest events, with
300 guests attending the rites held August 16 in First Presbyterian -church,
