Ministers often say thtt their
congregations ignore everything
the Church has to offer except
its weekly sermons.
In early times, the minister
was frequently the only educat
ed man in the town. People
sought his judgment and his aid
on countless daily questions.
Today the trend is once again
to turn to the minister, not just
for spiritual advice, but for ev
eryday problems.
Today's minister is often a
skilled advisor. He may have
taken courses in psychology and
lociology. as well as theology.
