In Ashland
Wed Couple
Ashland The Ashland Con
gregational church was the
setting Sunday, June 16, for the
three o'clock afternoon wedding
of Miss Anne Quincy Fullerton
and Walter Duane Hall. The
Rev. Fred Plocher officiated and
Robert B. Fullerton gave his
sister in marriage.
The bride is a daughter of
Mrs. Adelaide S. Fullerton, 725
Iowa street, Ashland. The bride
groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs
Leon D. Hall, Dallas, Texas
The bride is a teacher in the
Eugene Public schools. Mr. Hall
is teaching in the Roseburg
school system.
For her wedding the bride
wore a ballerina length white
lace and satin gown styled on
princess lines. Her elbow length
veil was held by a lace and pearl
trimmed cap and she carried a
cascade bouquet of stephanotis
encircling a lavender orchid.
Miss Jean Gay Fullerton of
San Francisco was maid of hon
or for her sister. She wore a
ballerina length lavender nylon
chiffon gown and carried a cas
cade bouquet of small lavender
orchids and stephanotis..
William Wilkens of Grants
Pass served as best man and
Floyd Kerby, brother-in-law of
the bridegroom from Dallas,
Texas, and Russell Blair, brother-in-law
of the bride, seated the
guests.
Little Janice Fullerton and
Russell Blair Jr. were candle
lighters. White gladiolus decorated the
church. Miss Lois Windsor was
soloist and Miss Margaret Ram
sey played the traditional organ
wedding music.
Following the ceremony a re
ception was held at the church
Lavender and white candles
decorated the table which held
the wedding cake.
The newlywed couple left for
the East coast and will leave
from New York for a tour of
Europe. They will make their
home in Eugene after Septem
ber 1. For her travelling attire
the bride wore a grey flannel
suit with black and white ac
cessories. The bride attended southern
Oregon college. The bridegroom
is a graduate of the University
of Oregon.

Special Meeting
Chapter AA of the PEO sister
hood will meet for luncheon
Wednesday, June 26. at 12:30
p.m. at the home of Mrs. H. B.
Murphy, Ross lane. Mrs. V. J.
Robinson and Mrs. C. H. An
drews will assist the hostess.
At this special meeting Mrs.
O. J. Frohnmayer, chapter presi
dent, and Mrs. C. Elwood Hed
berg will report on the Oregon
PEO convention which they at
tended June 19 and 20 in Salem.

Becomes Bride of
Ernest J Wisely
Central Point Mrs. Anna Joy
Atchley, a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Calvin Clayton, Butte Falls
Star route, Eagle Point, became
the bride of Ernest John Wisely
in a double ring ceremony held
at the home of the bridegroom's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wise
ly, 97 Bigham lane, Central
Point. The wedding was held Fri
day, June 14, at eight o'clock in
the evening with the Rev. D. E.
Millard officiating.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a light
blue taffeta frock with white ac
cessories and white orchid cor
sage. Miss Lois Cunningham attend
ed the bride. She wore a light
blue taffeta dress with white ac
cessories and pink carnation cor
sage. Donald Eugene Wisely served
as best man for his brother.
Following the ceremony a re
ception was held. Mrs. Wisely,
mother of the bridegroom, cut
and served the wedding cake,
and Mrs. Clayton poured the
punch. Mrs. Wisely was also in
charge of the guest book.
For the wedding and recep
tion Mrs. Clayton chose a navy
blue dress with white accesso
ries. Mrs. Wisely wore a light
blue dress with white accesso
ries. They both had pink rose
corsages.
The bridegroom attended Med
ford schools and served two
years with the United States
Army. He is attending Southern
Oregon college and is employed
by Fir Ply company at White
City. The bride is a graduate of
Eagle Point High school.
Following a wedding trip to
the Oregon coast, the newlyweds
will make their home at 122 Al
mond street, Medford.

Yreka Reception
A goup of members of Reames
chapter, Order of the Eastern
Star, Medford, attended a re
ception in Yreka, Calif. Tuesday
evening, June 18, honoring Mrs.
Marguerite Weisheimer, grand
worthy matron of California,
Order of the Eastern Star.
The seven northern California
chapters which compose District
No. 2, participated in the re
ception ceremonies. Also present
were a number of grand officers
for California.
Those in attendance from Med
ford were Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Boughner, Mrs. Earl McKinney,
Mrs. Roy Nordwick, Mr. and
Mrs. Herb Morris, Mrs. Lloyd

Conrad Barton. The bride is a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur

lin avenue, Grants Pass. The
bridegroom is a son of Mr. and
Mrs. George Wright Barton, 915
C street, Myrtle Point.
The Rev. Ross Knotts offici
ated at the double ring cere
mony. Baskets of stock, bou
vardia, and ferns decorated the
church for the wedding and
white tapers were at the altar.
Miss Arleita Knowles was solo
ist and Mrs. Frank Davis played
the traditional wedding' music.
Given in. marriage by her
father, the bride wore a dress of
white French lace and nylon tulle
over white satin. Her fingertip
length veil was held by a band
of seed pearls and she carried
white roses and lilies-of-the-val-ley
encircling a white orchid.
Mrs. Kendall Boiling, sister of
the bridegroom from Coquille,
was honor attendant and Miss
Beverly Good and Miss Colleen
Warnock, both of Medford, were
bridesmaids. Mrs. Boiling wore
a pink taffeta frock with head
dress of matching rosebuds ard
stephanotis and carried a nose
gay bouquet of pink and white
roses and stephanotis.
The bridesmaids wore frocks
identical to the matron of honor
in French blue taffeta with
matching floral headdress and
carried nosegay bouquets of pink
roses and stephanotis.
Candlelighters were Connie
Barton, sister of the bridegroom
and Alice Knotts. They wore
frocks of printed nylon over pale
pink taffeta with pink rosebud
wristlets and pink roses in their
hair.

Vacation in Valley
Shady Cove Mr. and Mrs.
Glen R. Laney, Berkeley, Calif.,
are spending a week at Rogue
River lodge. This is the couple's
second vacation spent in the
Rogue valley.
Pass High school and Southern
Oregon college. The bridegroom
attended Myrtle Point High
school, Oregon State college and
Southern Oregon college. For the
summer he is employed at Bar
ton Brothers Logging company.
Myrtle Point and this fall the
couple will again attend South
ern Oregon college.
A rehearsal supper was held
the evening prior to the wedding
by the parents of the bride at
the church parlors. Thirty guests
