Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Adamson
celebrated their coral wedding
anniversary June 7. with a gar
den reception for 75 friends. As
sisting at the refreshment table
were Mrs. Verne Wilson, Mrs.
Jack Harris, Mrs. Frank Blaar
and Mrs. Horace Doolen.
Greetings were received dur
ing the evening from manv

from Ft. Worth. Tex. . and Dodzc
were married in 1922 in Ari
zona, where Mr. Adamson was a
faculty member at the Univer
sity of Arizona. They have lived
also in New Mexico, Denver.
Colo., Kansas and Texas, before
coming to Medford 10 years ago.
Mrs. Adamson is minister of
music at First Methodist church
and holds a state office as Ore
gon Conference secretary of
Wesleyan Service cuilds for the
Methodist church. Mr. Adamson,
a former lay leader in the
church, is active as an adult
teacher in the Church school,
active in Boy Scout and YMCA
boards, and a Rotarian.
The Adamsons reside at 839
East Jackson Boulevard.

Miss Hoffman is a graduate
of Phoenix High school. Mr.
Thomas, who is making his home
in Medford, is a graduate of
Oregon State college and is a
staff member at television sta
tion KBES-TV.

which followed the wedding of
Miss Charlotte Wood and Irv-
j ing Hopper Sunday, June 9.
No date has been set for the
wedding.

of Talent. Mr. Thomas is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Thomas
of Portland.
For her traveling attire the
bride chose a beige sheath dress
with matching accessories. They
will make their home at 800
South Oakdale avenue after a
wedding trip to southern Calif
ornia. The bride lived in Medford for
five years a:id attended Medford
High school and Southern Ore
gon college. Her parents will
leave Medford in the near future
for Washington. D C. where Mr.
Wood has been transferred by
the United States Forest Service.
The bridegroom attended Col
lege of Pacific at Stockton,
Calif., and has been making his
home in Medford. He is em
ployed as a technician at tele
vision station KBES-TV.
Relatives of the bride from
out-of-town were Mrs. Herbert
Wood, Seattle. grandmother;
Mrs. Russell Brobst, Bellevue,
Wash., aunt; and Miss Jean
Brobst, Bellevue, cousin. Rela
tives of the bridegroom who at
tended included his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. W. I. Hopper of Las
Vegas: Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hop
per. Wolf Creek, Ore., aunt and
uncle; G. W. Hopper Jr.. Wolf
Creek, cousin; and W. G.
Hopper, Inglewood, Calif.,
grandfather. Also attending were
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Pierce, Oak
land, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Gor
don Castle. Portland, Al Farlow,
Arcada, Calif., and Misi Ann
Williamson, Eureka.
Prior to the wedding several
parties were given for the
couple. A bridal shower was
held for the bride at Rogue Val
ley Country club Saturday, June
8, by women members of the
staff and wives of staff members
of the television station. Ap
proximately 40 guests attended
the shower. Among the guests
were Mrs. W. I. Hopper, mother
of the bridegroom. Miss Arlene
Redmond, Mri. Darrell Keating,
and Mrs. Jack H. Wood, mother
of the honored guest.
Friday evening a rehearsal
parly was given at the Holland
hotel by Mr. and Mrs. William
I. Hopper, parents of the bride

ning in the downstairs dining
room of the Timber Room. In
stalling officer was Mrs. Darlyne
Rudd, retiring president of the
local chapter, assisted by Mrs.
Jeanne Brown, past president of
the chapter.
The traditional candlelight and
flowers were used for the in
stallation of Mrs. Virginia Schu
ster, president; Mrs. Gloria
Smith, first vice-president: Mrs.
Kay Jandreau, second vice-president:
Mrs. Kathryn Thomas, re
cording secretary: Mrs. Marion
Langley. corresponding secre
tary; and Mrs Gwcnn Caster,
treasurer.
Guests attending were Mrs.

The retiring president. Mrs.
Rudd. was presented a gold com

Among June brides is the former Marilyn JoAnn Myrhe, a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Myhre, 1070 Spring street, whose
wedding to Alphonse Floyd Pawlowski took place June 9 at
Zion Lutheran church. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs.
A. F. Pawlowski, Route 1, Box 8, Jacksonville.
The Rev. G. H. Hillerman read
the ceremony at eight o'clock in
the evening in the presence of
200 friends and relatives of the
couple. Pink and white gladio
lus decorated the church and
sprays of these blossoms marked
the pew ends.
Mrs. Oscar Bjorlie and Otto
Ewaldsen provided the wedding
music.
The bride's gow n was of Chan
tilly lace fashioned with sweet
heart neckline and long fitted
sleeves. Her veil was held by a
crown of sequins and pearl hearts
and she carried white roses. Mr.
Ilyhre gave his daughter in mar
riage. Mrs. Robert Klumph. cousin
of the bride, was matron-of-hon-or.
Her frock was of pale green
taffeta made princess style with
a bow at the back and worn with
picture hat and matching shoes

Miss Janet Myhre, sister of the
bride and Miss Margaret Hamil
ton were bridesmaids. Their
giwns of pink taffeta matched
that worn by the honor attend
ant, and they also wore match
ing picture hats and shoes. They
carried green Ester Reed daisies.
Donna Klumph, flower girl,
wore a dress to match the honor
attendant's gown and carried
pink daisies. Dennis Klumph was
ring bearer.
