equipment and materials, field
trips for the gaining of applica
tion and practice of technique,
and evaluation of problems and
questions encountered during
laboratory, field and discussion
periods. Two hours of credit may

course requirements.
Lomax, who received his BS
degree in geography from the
University of Oregon in 1941. is
married to the former Jean Web
ber of Ashland. They have three
children, Joe 11, Judy 13, and
Jerry 15. His father, Alfred L.
Lomax, is a professor of business

of Oregon faculty.
