Two teams of players face
each other. Between them is
a row of six pillows. One
team chooses a player to hide
the penny. He presses it
against his palm and fingers
but keeps his palm down.
Under each pillow he places
this hand, but leaves the
penny under one of them.
The other side watches him
closely. Is he tensing his
muscles? Does his facial ex
pression show when he lets
go? Their leader, after con
sulting his team, touches the
pillow under which they de
cide the penny is lying. If
they are right, they score 10
points. Then it is their turn
to hide the penny. The side
that makes GO points first
wins the game.

To make this candy, you
will need:
8 squares of semisweet
chocolate
16 animal crackers
Line the bottom and sides
of a shallow 8"x4" pan with
waxed paper, extending the
paper over the sides one inch.
Heat chocolate squares in top
of double boiler until almost
melted; remove from fire and
stir until smooth. Pour into
pan and cool.
When the chocolate is al
most firm, cut into squares
and stand an animal cracker
upright in each one. After the
chocolate is hardened, lift it
(on the waxed paper) from
pan and separate the pieces.

Do you have an old tin or plastic cup at your house? Then
wad some paper into a ball, tying it up tightly with a string.
Next tie one end of a six-foot-long string to the ball and the
other end to the handle of the cup.
Now begin to play. Each player tries four times to swing
the ball up high and Catch it in his cup. He gets 10 points each
time he catches it, and the first player who makes 150 wins.
