Starts June 3
At Butte Falls
Eeginning Monday, June 3, at
9 a.m.. the Butte Fallg Commu
nity Bible church will hold daily
vacation Bible school classes for
boys and girls, ages 4 through
15. Mrs. Louis S. Crammer will
be the superintendent and Mrs.
Howard Simmonds will have
charge of the music. Mrs. Wil
liam B. Edmondson will again
act as secretary of school sup
plies. The classes and their teachers
are as follows, beginners, Mrs.
Harry Dalton; primary, Mrs. Leo
nard C. Richman; junior boys,
Miss Joycfe Berck; junior girls,
Mrs. L. W. Berck; and interme
diates: Howard Simmonds.
Other activities of the local
church include a recently organ
ized church service for interme
diates under the direction of Mr.
and Mrs. Douglas Crammer. Mrs.
Dwayne Burton plays the piano
for the services which include
singtime, games, and devotions
for young folks of the sixth, sev
enth and eighth grades. This
group meets every Sunday at 6
p.m. in the church auditorium.
Another group for high school
young people has been meeting
alternatingly at the Rev. Howard
Simmonds' home and the Elga
Abbott home on Wednesday
nights at 7 p.m. Miss Donna
Berck is the song leader and Miss
Delores Brown is the secretary
treasurer. The young people are
planning a high school age roll
er skating party at Ashland
sometime in June.
The first baptismal service
ever held in the almost complet
ed church auditorium will be
June 16 at 7 p.m. Anyone desir
ing to be baptized at that time
should contact Mr. Simmonds.
