bought a ship for use by mission
aries among the islands of the
Pacific. That vessel was chris
tened Morning Star I.
Now, the American Board of
Foreign Missions (Congrega
tional) has raised $17,000 in the
United States to buy Morning
Star VII, which wiH serve as a
floating church-for the ' Rev.
Eleanor Wilson of Cambridge, a
65-year-old missionary who has
spent 16 years in the Carolina
and Marshall islands. This wiir
replace Morning Star VI, which
sank in 1952.
Miss Wilson's parish includes
1,000 islands.

Falls, with the 1957 FORD WHICH THEY WON AT FORTUNE STATIONS. When notified of
their prize, the Hix's "were stunned," according to Mrs. Hix, "because they were so in need
of a new car, they just couldn't believe it." The Hix couple are now driving a 1949 Ford.
Mr, Hix is employed by the Klamath County Road Department and is a long time resi
dent of the basin.
