Salem (U.R) There is still a
possibility the Air Force may
build a jet base near Woodburn,
Gov. Robert D. Holmes told the
State Board of Control Tuesday.
The governor said a "concert
ed effort" was being made to
get the Air Force to change its
mind on abandonment of the
Woodburn site and settling in
stead for improvements at Port
land International airport.
