AN ORDINANCE declaring the
assessment on property benefited for
the cost of constructing curbs, drive
ways and paving of Boardman Street
from Ohio Street to McAndrews
Road, in the City of Medford, Oregon;
and directing the Recorder to enter a
statement thereof in the docket of
City Liens and publish a notice
thereof as required by the Charter.
THE CITY OF MEDFORD DOTH
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: -
Section 1. WHEREAS, the City
Council did heretofore bv Ordinance
declare its intention to construct
curbs, driveways and paving of
Boardman Street from Ohio Street to
McAndrews Road, in the City of
Medford, Oregon; and to assess the
cost thereof upon each lot or part
thereof adjacent to and benefited by
such improvement its proportionate
share of the cost of said improve
ment, and did fix the time and place
for hearing protests against the con
struction of said improvement, and
the assessment of the cost thereof, as
aforesaid; and
WHEREAS said Ordinance was duly
posted and published as required by
the Charter of the City; and
WHEREAS a meeting of the Council
was held at the time and place fixed
in said Ordinance for the purpose of
considering any such protests, but no
firotestt were at such time, or at any
ime. made to. or received by the
Council to the construction of said
Improvement, or the assessing of the
cost thereof, as aforesaid, and said
Council has considered the matter
and deeming that said construction of
said improvement was and Is of ma
terial benefit to said City, and that
all the property to be assessed there
for will be benefited thereby to the
extent of the probable amount of the
respective assessments to be levied
against said property, did order the
construction of said improvement;
and
WHEREAS, the cost of said im
provement has been and hereby is
determined to be the sum of $8,707.65.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby
determined that the proportionate
share of the cost of construction of
said improvement, on each parcel of
property adjacent to said improve
ment and benefited thereby is the
amount set opposite the description
of each piece or parcel of land be
low and that each piece or parcel of
land benefited by the construction of
said improvement, to the full extent
of the amount so set opposite such
piece or parcel and that the respec
tive amounts represent the propor
tional benefits of said improvement
to said respective parcels of property,
and the Council does hereby declare
that each of the parcels of property
described v below is hereby assessed
the amount set opposite each respec
tive description, for the cost of the
construction of said improvement.

The undersigned reserves the right to reject any and all
bids and to accept or reject any and all bids made imme
diately after the opening of said sealed bids. Any property
not sold on sealed bids or on other bids made immediately
subsequent to the opening of sealed bids, shall be offered
for sale at public auction at 9:00 o'clock A.M. on the 27th

Oregon. Any of such assets sold at public auction will be
sold by such auctioneer as the court may approve, to the
highest and best bidders for cash for each individual item of
such property or to the highest and best bidder for cash for
