Portland Man Killed
When Auto Hits Post

hosupital last night after his
car went out of control and
struck a post on Highway 30
west of Bridal Veil.
Sheriff's deputies said Middle-
ton apparently went to sleep or
suffered a heart attack behind

A requiem mass for Victor
Dallaire of Jacksonville who
died Monday will be offered by
the Rev. Nicholas J. Dies at
Sacred Heart Catholic church
at 9 a.m. Friday. Recitation of
the Holy Rosary will be held
in the Conger-Morris chapel at
8 p.m. today. Committal will be
in the IOOF cemetery.
Mr. Dallaire was born Oct. ;
21, 1885, in St. Agnes, Quebec,
Canada. On Feb. 16. 1916, in
Medford. he was married to
Delia Clements, who preceded
him in death in 1935.
Survivors include a daugh
ter, Mrs. Charles Delsman Jr.,
Ashland; a son, Eusebe Dal
laire, New York City: a sister,
Mrs. Anna O'Neil, Saskatche
wan, Canada; two brothers,
Aimee and Frank Dallaire, both
of New York, and four grandchildren.
Christ of the Latter Day Saints,
and had made his home in this
community for the past 3',2
years.
Survivors, besides his wife, in
clude two sons, Roscoe N. Sonne,
Arcadia, Calif.; and J. Dean
Sonne, Palo Alto, Calif.; two
daughters, Mrs. Ralph A. Bross,
and Mrs. Grant A. Quinney, both
of Medford; a brother. Alma
Sonne, and a sister, Emma Holm
green, both of Logan, Utah; 10
grandchildren and one great
granddaughter. '

ficiate. Committal will be in
Siskiyou Memorial park.
Mr. Bolte was born June 21,
1879, in Lost Nation, Iowa, and
came to Medford from South
Dakota in 1937. He was a mem
ber of the Presbyterian church
in Wolsey, S.D.
On Jan. 9, 1901, in Huron,
S.D., he was married to Eliza
beth Graham, who preceded him
in death on Dec. 12. 1954.
Survivors, besides his daugh
ter, include two brothers, Wil
liam Bolte, Virgil, S. D.; Alfred
Bolte, Huron, S.D.; three sisters.
Mrs. Minnie Hinck, Havre,
Mont.; Mrs. Naome . Nauman.
Kramer. N.D., and Mrs. Martha

Mr. Sonne was born May 9,
1881, in Logan, Utah. On June
27. 1906, in Logan. Utah, he was
married to Bertie Newbold, who
survives. He was a life long
member of the Church of Jesus

ture Planning council will be
presented at a public meeting in
the courthouse auditorium Fri-

agriculture agent who has been
working with the 18 commit
tees, said the reports will cover
such phases of activity as live
stock, field crops, horticulture,
youth activities, community liv
ing and other fields. Current sta
tus of these phases of activity
will be summarized and recom
mendations for future improve
ment willbe presented.
About 200 people have been
working on the various commit
tees since they were authorized
last October, Tucker said.
The ' meeting will recess for
lunch from noon until 1:15 p.m.,
and is expected to conclude
about 3:30 p.m.
