EDFORD was literally a "horse and buggy" town, way
back in 1 891 when this firm was first established on Front Street
and sold furniture made at its Phoenix manufacturing plant.
Since 1900 Weeks & Orr have been situated at the present loca
tion, expanding and remodeling constantly to keep pace with
the growth of Medford. In 1953 Weeks & Orr's fine new furni
ture store was completed (shown above) and this big, beautifully
arranged and conveniently planned store was a far cry from
the original West Main street store (shown at the right). This fine
new store . . . largest in southern Oregon . . . has 23,000 square
feet of space devoted to displays of complete home furnishings.
This is exclusive of 14,000 feet of storage space in another loca
tion. Eugene Orr, present owner and general manager, joined
the Weeks & Orr organization in 1932 and is celebrating a
quarter-century of service upon the occasion of this 65th Anni
versary. Our best way to say "thank you" to the friends of this
pioneer firm, for generous support and patronage through the
years, is to offer really outstanding Anniversary Values during
