Woman 'Gets Even'
For Telephone Calls
Portland OJ.PJ A Port
land woman who doesn't like
telephone solicitors calling her,
decided to do something about
it.
For two days she retaliated
by calling a downtown photo
graphic studio that solicits a
great deal of business by phone.
Her calls to the studio came at
regular clock work at five min
ute intervals.
Finally driven to desperation,
the studio called police. They
traced the call.
When officers called at her
home, the woman said "I just
wanted those people to know
how it feels to constantly get
unwanted telephone calls."
She agreed to quit making
the calls, though, saying she al
ready felt better.
